I was born and raised in the heart of California, where I was fortunate to grow up surrounded by a bounty of fresh, organic fruits and vegetables. My love for food blossomed from a young age, as I helped my mom in our family garden and learned about the beauty of nature’s gifts. My path towards veganism began when I was a teenager, fueled by my love for animals and my growing understanding of the impact our food choices have on the environment and our health.
I fully embraced a vegan lifestyle in my early twenties and quickly found that it brought me tremendous physical, mental, and emotional benefits. I felt more energetic, my skin cleared up, and I had a newfound sense of connection to the earth and all its inhabitants.
As I dove deeper into the world of plant-based eating, I discovered the raw food movement. The idea of consuming food in its most natural state, uncooked and unprocessed, resonated with me on a profound level. I embarked on a journey to learn more, immersing myself in books, workshops, and online communities, and eventually attending the prestigious Living Light Culinary Institute to become a certified raw food chef and educator.
Over the years, I have learned that raw eating is not just a diet, but a holistic lifestyle that celebrates the abundance and beauty of nature. It’s a way to nourish our bodies, minds, and spirits, while also honoring the planet and its resources. Through “Radiant Rawness,” I hope to share my passion for raw veganism with you and inspire you to embrace a lifestyle that can truly transform your life.
