Surely you've caught at least one or two Colorado Springs Craft Week events by now, but if you haven't, there's ample time to remedy that before Sunday.
Last night, I dropped by Brewer's Republic for a special barrel-aged beer tasting paired with Radiantly Raw chocolates.
And if you're now hating yourself for missing out on a Switchback Coffee Truffle chewed alongside a pour of Bristol's Laughing Lab that was whiskey barrel aged, know this: It's not too late to get in on the action.
Today (and tonight) from 4 to 11 p.m., chocolatier Jacquie Mosher will be at the Green Man Taproom & Beer Garden for Local's Day with Pikes Peak Brewing Company and Radiantly Raw.
All local pints will be $3.99 at the event and three of PPBC's beers, including the Wild Horses Barrel Aged Porter, will sport suggested chocolate pairings "to expose and highlight notes in your favorite local beers," in Mosher's words.
And of course that's just one of the many Craft Week events ahead before week's end, including the not-to-be-missed, headlining Crafter's Festival this Friday, May 2 from 4 to 9 p.m.
